Dig in the spot right in front of the locker. When you have everything you need, head to the library. You will need lots of wood, metal, and duct tape. It's a tough prison and you will need to fight a lot to get the resources you need. Exit fence control and move off to the right until you are close to the building and nearly sheltered. Then, wait for a time when everyone is occupied elsewhere, like dinner or something, and use the red key with a stash bag to go through the work area, then use the red key to go to the fence controls, turn them off. This only took a few days, once I figured out what I was going to try.įind the guard with the red key and beat him up and make a copy. I got a good weapon and plated uniform and just beat enough of the guards up that the front door was unlocked for me. I've tried to replicate them, but ended up having to do it my way and be lucky.
I've seen a few different methods of escape on the first four prisons. Unless you reload a checkpoint but then you still lose the entire day. Last thing you know you're running around trying to avoid fighting and you still knock everyone out cause your stats are so high, and now the place is in lockdown, you're in solitary and they find evidence of everything you have down and you lose all your work. Like why have your character automatically fight back? Can't tell you how many times I have gone into lockdown on accident just because I wanted an item off of a guard. Eh, maybe I am thinking to hard and expecting too much? There are quite a few things that don't exactly make sense to me but whatever. I mean I can see if the cop was giving the papers to the guard in order to prepare for the prisoners arrival but this just seemed backwards to me. Wouldn't it be weird if the cop was releasing himself? After all you are presenting papers for release of a criminal. It doesn't make sense to me to where a guard uniform. But I also didn't have a guard uniform on. Ha yeah I just figures that out by mashing everything. Also put on a guards uniform, ideally before you are at the gate. I made the same mistake you are describing. Once you're through the wall, just step on through and you're in the clear! Just remember to check Michael's tattoo-map for further directions! Edited Februby Darth VeX You'll also want to avoid the truck that circles the compound. If you don't have cutters, you can instead use a pickaxe to break through one of the double-walls. Use the cutters to cut through the fence next to the outer gate door. Hug the outer wall as you walk on the surface (to avoid the mine field) and circle around to the south. Throw on your guard's uniform to avoid detection. As the roll call breaks up, head for the Outfit Making office and head out your tunnel. If you have the bed dummy, you can throw that in your bed and then head to the evening roll call. UP, OUT, AND AROUND: You'll need the cutters, a digging implement, and a guard's uniform on the night of your escape. You'll need at least four timber braces along the way, but you'll want to tunnel right up against the outer wall and dig all but the last little bit of the way out. This should net you about 1-3 wood every time.ĪVOID THE MINES WHILE MINING: Dig a tunnel north and avoid the landmines. GOT WOOD?: One great tip for acquiring wood that "The Huntsman" mentioned several posts up (since there is no woodshop job you can get to stockpile it and it rarely comes up for sale or can be found in other inmates' desks) is to use a good weapon (like nunchucks or a whip) and padded or plated uniform, good health, and beat up the three guards during morning and/or evening roll calls. You can cover the hole in the wall up with a poster if you want, but most people find that they glitch out after several uses. If you take down the back wall of the shop, you can dig a hole in the little back room there. GET A JOB: Until they fix the broken poster issue, there is a fairly simple work-around to hide your digging hole even from cell inspections on San Pancho-get a job working in the Outfit Making shop. I just wanted to expand on his short description for those who might have some trouble finding their way out of this desert. As stated in the first post, The Huntsman's method is really the only viable method I know of at this point.
